Vincent el Bama

 

For Vincent el BAMA the "Great Adventure" began July 14, 1970, he was not destined for art, son of a laborer, grandson of peasants, born in France, he arrived in Switzerland at the age of 2 years old when his parents left the country of his birth. 

 

And it was only much later, when influenced by a friend, that serious things began really taking shape with his discovery of photography, by pure chance, it must be said. 

       

Not long after, he felt the urge to set up photo shoots and the conventional or contractual photos, interested him only a little. He said he took his time learning, was self taught,  and he refused to take formal courses or traning. For him, art (because that is how he sees the picture) must be spontaneous, magical and especially unique, always noting the fact that a picture can be taken only once, that is, because it is a moment of magic that he captures. 

       

Described as the "eye of God" by some, as his pictures are borrowed magic, he is first a profound humanist, sensitive and passionate, his patience, his kindness, his deep sense of professionalism when taking a picture is something that the models adopt as well and afterwards never look back. 

     

 Stars have also adopted him for him impressive availability, Fatman Scoop, rapper and radio and American television host, renewed his own confidence on multiple shoots. he also became the official photographer of Mister Mike D'j, author of famous titles  such as "Pump it up" and "Put your hands up in the air" that have been heard around the world. Mike likes to say that with Vincent, he finally found a photographer with whom he reached the top artistic level in image quality. 

     

During his many artistic collaborations throughout the world, in many countries, from inter alia through Morocco, Cuba, Thailand, Cambodia, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, he has forged an artistic network with leading professionals. With a very active creative mind he is always looking for change but the adventure does not stop there since he is currently developing a video of several clips including one for a renown hairdresser that is currently underway. 

       

The contestants also trust him enough to start with the Miss France committee. Miss Lorraine 2014 of whom he is the official photographer, Miss Morocco has also given him her photographic achievements for the 2012 pageant as a foreign official photographer, he also worked for Miss Disability Switzerland as official photographer at the 2011 pageant. For 2014  he has also taken pictures of Miss Round France.

       

He is also in the process of making a big photo project for a world famous rapper in the USA.

     

To see the potential of this evolving photo prodigy, when asked how far he will go, many will agree that Vincent only knows, high, very high, and even "to the top" but there is a safe bet that the adventure is far from over, and 2014 will be the year which will for sure see his consecration to the world.
